It has certainly been an eventful time in the world of HR and employment with the Employment Rights Bill being introduced to Parliament last month. The proposed changes in the Bill represent the biggest change to UK employment law in a generation.

The Autumn Budget announced increases to National Minimum Wage and Employer's National Insurance contributions. This has given many SMEs cause for concern as they review their budgets, and potentially their team structures, to accommodate the additional costs.
